Dog and Cat Registrations
Pet Registrations and Renewals due by 31 August each year
Annual pet registration notices are sent by the Dog and Cat Management Board in July of each year. Registrations are due for renewal by 31 August of that year.
Registration is one of the best ways to 'help us to help you' if your pet escapes or is missing and gets collected by Council. If we pick up a pet, we'll use our scanner to check they have a microchip. This microchip connects to the contact details you give when your animal is registered. We can use these details to try to contact you and help get your pet home.
If you need to renew your pet's registration, or to register a new pet, head to Dogs and Cats Online (DACO). You can also call Council on (08) 8671 0010 if you need help.
