Sometimes the power goes out — but what’s causing it? 🤔⚡
From time to time, Roxby Downs may experience a power outage or interruption to the electricity supply. While we know losing power can be frustrating, interruptions can happen for a number of reasons.
Here are the two most common types:
🔧 PLANNED OR SCHEDULED OUTAGES
These outages are planned in advance while Roxby Power undertakes essential network maintenance, repairs or upgrades. Where possible, affected residents and businesses will be notified ahead of time.
🚨 UNPLANNED POWER FAULTS
Sometimes faults can occur unexpectedly within the power network. These can interrupt electricity to an individual property, a street, or multiple homes and streets across Roxby Downs.
