How can I process Commercial waste and recycling?

Various types of commercial waste and recycling can be processed at the Opal Road Waste Transfer Facility located at Lot 673 Opal Road, Roxby Downs. Fees are applicable for the disposal of commercial waste.

Operating hours

• Monday to Friday:  8:00am – 2:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
• Sunday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
• CLOSED  Public Holidays

To deposit waste outside of these times, please contact Veolia on on 0455 305 587 (Monday to Friday 8:00am-2:00pm).

Other types of business waste and recycling management are available for a fee through Veolia. Please contact them direct to discuss your needs options available.

What payment options are available?

You can pay Waste Transfer Facility fees by;

• EFTPOS, at time of drop-off
  

  or

• Set up a 30 day account through Council (paid monthly). To arrange an account, please complete and return the following New Debtor Agreement Form to roxby@roxbycouncil.com.au

Commercial Waste Conditions

All commercial waste deliveries are subject to assessment by the site operator. Fees are calculated based on the type of waste and the total weight received.

If you are delivering large or bulk loads, you must give at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows the facility to manage capacity and maintain safe and compliant operations. Please be aware that large volumes may not always be accepted, especially during busy periods or when trailers are being changed over.

All waste deliveries must meet operational requirements and follow relevant environmental regulations.
