Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations Program
The Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations Program has wrapped up for 2024 and we are pleased to share the 2024 Youth Representative report.

St Barbara’s Parish School Students and Gavin Choong,, 2024 Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations.
This year, their Listening Tour was able to reach over 2000 young Australians, producing the strongest and most comprehensive research findings of the Program since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their report (linked here) focused on building a complex picture of the world through the eyes of young Australians, which was possible due to the significant number of participants they connected with. By including detailed state and territory sections, their aim is to equip local policymakers with the insights needed to address the unique challenges faced by youth in their respective jurisdictions.
With this report, they aim to share their findings with governments at all levels and influence policymakers by highlighting the issues and solutions proposed by young people. Additionally, their 2024 Australian Youth Delegate presented these findings at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, amplifying the voices of young Australians on a global stage.
