Leadership in Action is an exciting 10-week youth leadership program for young people aged 14–18 years who want to build confidence, develop new skills and make a real impact in the Roxby Downs community.
Tuesdays 3-5pm in the Community Youth Centre
This isn't just another after-school program—it's an opportunity to become the voice of youth in Roxby Downs, helping shape ideas, influence community initiatives and represent the views of young people.
Participants will:
- Develop practical leadership and teamwork skills.
- Plan and deliver community projects.
- Build confidence in public speaking and decision-making.
- Meet local leaders and organisations.
- Represent the voices of young people in Roxby Downs.
- Gain valuable experience for future employment and study.
- Have the opportunity to gain up to 10 SACE credits (subject to meeting SACE requirements and successful completion of program components)

Applicants will be reviewed by the program lead. Successful applicants may be invited to attend a short informal conversation before final participants are selected.
